Description
This e-book is a collection of modern poetry that explores the various perspectives and facets of our personalities that we display in our daily lives (how we present ourselves to others, our doubts in the face of our convictions, the world in the face of our fears, and many others). Between the inner reflections on our search for meaning and the resolutions we make to dispel the uncertainties that gnaw at us,*Pensées en fuite* tracesthis drift of belief that slips away from us against our will.
As we turn the pages, the narrative also reveals all the similarities that bind us—from the roles assigned to us from childhood onward to the legacy we hope to leave behind. Each poem explores these themes of openness or, conversely, isolation, between those who seek to love and those who seek only to harm.
*Pensées en fuite*is a collection designed to echo my first collection,*Coeur en Inertie*, as italso explores the perspectives of various pronouns (I, you, he, she, we, you, they); however, it can be read independently since the poems are not arranged in chronological order.
